Jennifer Ashe Thompson is an established artist. She intends for her art to evoke emotions personal to the viewer. Her belief is that each person has a unique experience when interacting with what is in front of them. Whether Jennifer is painting crashing waves, a wild animal, or a nude model, her objective is to bring form to emotion. "Were I called on to define, very briefly, the term Art, I should call it 'the reproduction of what the Senses perceive in Nature through the veil of the soul.' The mere imitation, however accurate, of what is in Nature, entitles no man to the sacred name of 'Artist.'" |
